Privacy policy

Talos AI is a private, owner-operated assistant. This policy applies to its Google Calendar and Tasks integration and this public information website.

Google information accessed

With OAuth consent, Talos reads events from the authorized account’s primary Google Calendar and pending Google Tasks from a bounded number of lists. It requests calendar.events.readonly and tasks.readonly. It does not request Gmail access or permission to edit Google Calendar and Tasks data.

How information is used

The information is used only to answer the owner’s questions and show limited information in Talos’s local dashboard or voice interface. Talos does not use Google account data for advertising, profiling for marketing, or sale to others.

Storage and retention

Google refresh credentials remain in the owner’s local macOS Keychain. Access tokens are used transiently when making authorized Google API requests. Calendar and Tasks details may be held temporarily in local application memory to answer queries. Automatic dashboard status views are designed to avoid exposing item titles. This public website does not receive or store Google Calendar entries, Google Tasks contents or OAuth tokens.

Sharing and hosting

Talos communicates with Google APIs to retrieve authorized information. Cloudflare hosts this informational site and may process ordinary website connection information in providing hosting. The site has no client-side analytics script, no Google login and no Google-data collection form. Private Google Calendar and Tasks contents are not deliberately transmitted to this website.

Access controls and revocation

The account owner can revoke Talos’s Google access at Google Account connections or disconnect the local Talos integration and remove its credential. This prevents future authorized reads. The owner can also manage or delete original events and tasks in Google’s products.
